The Recommended Path (RP)

Modified on Sun, 18 Dec 2022 at 06:14 PM

The Recommended Path shows nuggets for students to work through. This order is calculated by CENTURY's artificially intelligent recommendation engine, taking into account student activity on the platform and teacher set nuggets.

When a student first logs into CENTURY, they will see a number of diagnostics linked to the courses they are studying. A diagnostics is a set of questions that allow the AI to understand the students strengths and gaps in knowledge.

Once a diagnostic is completed, the AI will then push nuggets into the Recommended Path to address these gaps in knowledge. The Recommended Path will look different for each student and will be constantly adapting to ensure personalised learning for students.

If you have completed a nugget more than once, the details for the last attempt will be shown in the Recommended Path. The outer circle around the nugget symbol shows your score from the last attempt while the inner circle refers to the completion score in the nugget. To find out more about the completion score, click this link.

Clicking on the 'i' symbol on the top right of the nugget will reveal the exact details from your last attempt.

Teachers can set nuggets and diagnostics to appear at the front of their students' Recommended Path, and these nuggets are identifiable by the below symbol.
