CENTURY is designed to make it simple for students to revise their learning, whether that is through independent study or teacher-directed activities. The following outlines several suggestions on how you can incorporate CENTURY into your class’ revision in the lead up to exams or assessments.
Independent learning
Students can address areas of weakness in their learning by using the Recommended Path (RP) and working through CENTURY’s recommendations.
Students can also work through their Focus and Stretch recommendations, which they can find on their My Path page.
Students can find what CENTURY has identified as their strengths and areas for improvement in their Student Dashboard, then click onto a nugget to begin studying from there.
Students can search for nuggets in My Courses to find nuggets to study independently. This is helpful if students have identified areas of weakness through mock exams or by a teacher.
Diagnostic quizzes
Set a diagnostic on a specific exam paper, topic, or a whole course to identify gaps in knowledge. CENTURY will then recommend the appropriate nuggets to bridge these gaps in a student’s RP.
Then, let students work independently through their RP according to CENTURY’s recommendations.
