The CENTURY Wellbeing Tool is a research-informed digital wellbeing questionnaire designed to help learners reflect on their feelings, experiences, and readiness to learn. Taking under five minutes to complete, it supports organisations in identifying what’s going well, where learners may need support, and how wellbeing is evolving over time.
Based on the Student Subjective Wellbeing Questionnaire (SSWQ) developed by Dr. Tyler Renshaw (Renshaw, et al., 2015), it measures five key areas that matter for student wellbeing:
- Connectedness
- Academic Efficacy
- Joy of Learning
- Educational Purpose
- Safety
Through a simple and user-friendly questionnaire, learners are guided to reflect on their educational experience – not just how they're performing academically. This holistic approach provides organisations with powerful insights to identify trends across a class, year group or whole organisation, making it easier to spot learners who may need additional support, or to monitor the impact of wellbeing initiatives over time.
By combining psychology, education, and thoughtful design, our Wellbeing Tool helps organisations build a culture of emotional literacy, reflection, and care into everyday practice, laying the foundation for thriving students.
