What is the Markbook?

Modified on Sun, 18 Dec 2022 at 05:33 PM

The Markbook allows you to view your students' marks in each nugget.  You can use this if you set a nugget to the whole class to identify misconceptions at a class level.  It can also be used to identify individual students or small groups of students who are struggling in a particular area.  By clicking on a cell, you can see a full breakdown of a student's attempt, including the time a student spent on the learning material and each question. You can also see where they answered correctly, incorrectly or if they skipped a question.

You can also make your Markbook more accessible by using the Options drop down:

Selecting 'Coloured cells' will make the scores on the page appear as block colours according to the students score.

Selecting 'Attempted nuggets only' will mean the nuggets that appear are for nuggets students have completed as opposed to showing the course in its entirety.

Furthermore, it is important to make sure that you have clicked 'Select All' in the strand dropdown, otherwise you will only see the students diagnostic scores.

You also have the ability to time stamp your Markbook using the Time dropdown. This will then show you the nuggets completed within that time period only.
