Teacher Dashboard: Courses tab

Modified on Tue, 27 Aug at 10:06 AM

The Courses tab allows teachers to monitor class progress in specific courses. This information is available at different levels, from overall class activity to individual student performance within the course.

To begin, select the course of your choice from the Course drop-down menu at the top of the page:

Use the time period filter to see which nuggets your students have completed in a particular time period.

Class Activity

The Class Activity section allows you to track:

  • Total amount of time students have spent on the course, overall and individually

  • Total nuggets attempted by students, overall and individually

  • Total questions answered by students, overall and individually

  • Individual students’ average score on the course

Click on any of the column headings to sort the data accordingly. You can also click on any of the student names to be taken to their individual Dashboards. This is a great way to easily spot which students are excelling in each course, and which might require additional support.

Nuggets Completed

Here, you can:

  • See the class’ recently completed nuggets

  • View how many students in the class have completed a nugget

  • View the class's average score in each nugget

Click on any of the column headings to sort the data accordingly. You can also click on a nugget and be taken immediately to the Nuggets tab, where you can see an in-depth analysis of how students answered each question within the nugget and spot class-wide misconceptions.

Finally, you can click on ‘View in Markbook’ at the top of this section to be taken to the Markbook for this course. Here you can view individual student’s scores in each nugget in one simple overview.
