Class code onboarding for assessment cohorts

Using Class Code - process for staff

In order for your learners to use Class Code to access assessments, staff will need to generate the code from within the platform.  

To do this: 

1. Go to Class Admin 
2. Select your assessment cohort and click ‘Class Code’ - then ‘generate class code’.  
3. This six digit code will be required by learners to add them to the cohort and will need to be distributed by staff. Each assessment cohort will have a unique code.

Using Class Code - process for learners

To access the assessment cohort via Class Code, learners will go to app.century.tech, select “I have a class code” and enter the code provided by staff.

They will then need to choose ‘NO, sign me up!’ if they do not have a CENTURY account or ‘Yes, sign me in’ if they have one from a previous year. 

In both instances, please ensure that the organisation email address is always used where available to prevent future account duplication.

When learners are creating an account for the first time, they will be able to sign up to CENTURY using the information in the following fields (above).  Where learners have an account but are simply using Class Code to access their assessment(s), they can sign in using single sign-on or username and password (below).

Once learners have completed the Class Code process, they will be able to view their assessments on the My Path page.
