My students' pathway is empty, is this because I haven't assigned a course?


Yes, your students need to have a course assigned to their class in the Class Admin tab for the new 21/22 academic year. As soon as you have assigned a course, the students’ pathways will be populated with nuggets and diagnostics. What course should I assign for my students?


We have created a course selector form which will help you choose the appropriate courses for your students, you can access it here. You can also find all of our course guides in our customer hub here.


The classes or students in my class are incorrect


If your classes are not showing correctly on the platform, there are no classes at all, or your students are not assigned correctly, we would recommend getting in touch with your school/college CENTURY lead or your CENTURY account manager who will be able to assist you in getting your student/classes correctly assigned or your system updated for the new academic year. 


How do I access my students' data?


You are able to view students' data if you have a course assigned to your class in the class admin tab. You will be able to start viewing your students’ data as soon as they have completed work on the platform.


Can my students access their courses from last year?


Yes, students can access their courses from last year by going to their My Courses tab. Please note, these will no longer appear in or affect the students pathway, the only courses that will be visible in the pathway are the ones assigned to their current classes.


Is it possible to access my students' data from last year?


Yes, if you go to your Teacher Dashboard, you should be able to use the academic year drop down at the top of the page and select 2020/21. You will then be able to select your class from last year and view their data.

Is there any guidance available to me on how best to use CENTURY at my school? 


Yes, we have a number of resources available to you which can offer advice and guidance on how to successfully implement CENTURY in your school. These can all be found in our customer hub here or you can look at our implementation guidance here.


My students can’t login


If your students are unable to login, double check they have an account set up on the platform by searching for them in class admin. If they have an account, you can access their username and change their password by clicking on their name in class admin, you can find an article on this here. If students are using single sign-on to log in with CENTURY, check they have an email address registered to their account, if they do not, we would recommend getting in touch with your MIS manager. 


My student does not have a CENTURY account


If your student does not have a CENTURY account, we would recommend getting in touch with your CENTURY account manager who can create one for them.


What are the hardware requirements for century


You can find all of our technical requirements hereCENTURY can be used from any tablet or desktop computer and is now optimised for mobile phones.


What’s new on CENTURY?


We have a number of exciting new features including mobile optimisation, a new overview page for the Teacher Dashboard and the ability to change the background colour on nuggets.


How do I introduce CENTURY to my new students?


For new students we would recommend directing them to the student resources area of our customer hub which can be found here.


How do I introduce CENTURY to my new teachers?


For new staff we would recommend directing them to our introductory video here, they should also have access to our About CENTURY - Teacher course in the my courses tab on the platform which includes nuggets on how to use all features on the platform. Following on from this we would suggest contacting your CENTURY account manager who will be able to set up a bespoke training session if you feel that would be beneficial.
