Guardian Dashboard: Overview tab

The Guardian Dashboard enables you to see your child’s:

• Learning activity, e.g. nuggets completed and scores

• Performance across the courses they study 

• Learning recommendations based on their performance 

• Course progress 

• Assignment data

Your child also has access to their own Dashboard in their CENTURY account.

The Overview tab shows a summary of your child’s learning activity and performance on CENTURY.

Learning activity

You can view how much time your child has spent completing work on CENTURY using the Learning Activity chart. This can be time stamped so you can monitor how long they have spent on the platform on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis. 

Similarly, the Active Days section shows which days they have accessed the platform and completed work within a given month.

Work completed

The Recently Completed section shows the nuggets that your child has worked on most recently, along with the date they completed the nugget, their score and their total time spent on the nugget. 

Tip: Nuggets generally take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete. If your child is spending less time on a nugget and achieving a low score, encourage them to spend more time on the learning material before answering the questions.

Click into a nugget to view more details on their attempt, including which questions they got right or wrong and the exact answers that were given. This is especially helpful to identify misconceptions or gaps in knowledge. Learn more in our Guardian guide here.

The Overview tab also displays a summary of your child’s progress in all of their assigned courses, including:

• How much of the course they have completed

• How much time they have spent on the course 

• Their average score so far

Learning recommendations

Finally, the Focus On section will suggest a nugget that will help your child improve. These recommendations are generated according to their learning behaviours, and aim to fill gaps in knowledge based on nuggets they have previously scored low in.  

If you do not see any recommendations, your child will need to complete more work on CENTURY before our AI can reliably assess their performance and provide learning suggestions.

Tip: The more nuggets your child completes, the more accurate CENTURY’s recommendations will become!
