Why is my students' Recommended Path (RP) empty?

Your students need to have a course assigned to their class from the Class Admin tab for the current academic year. As soon as a course has been assigned, the students’ pathways will be populated with diagnostics and nuggets. 


Which courses are available for my students?

CENTURY has a variety of courses for students in Primary, Secondary, and FE. We also have courses following certain GCSE exam specifications, such as AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge. You can find all of our curriculum guides and course mapping in our customer hub here.


The classes or students in my class are incorrect.

If you are facing the following issues:

  • Your classes are not showing correctly on the platform

  • There are no classes at all

  • Your students are not in the correct classes


We recommend getting in touch with your organisation’s CENTURY lead or your CENTURY Account Manager or contacting support@century.tech. They will be able to assist in getting your students/classes set up correctly. 


How do I access my students' data?

You are able to view students' data if you have a course assigned to your class in the Class Admin tab. You will be able to start viewing your students’ data in the Teacher Dashboard as soon as they have completed work on the platform.


Can my students access their courses from last year?

Yes, students can access their courses from last year by going to their My Courses tab. 


Note: These courses will no longer appear in / affect the students’ Recommended Path. The only courses that will be visible in the RP are the ones assigned to their current classes.


Is it possible to access my students' data from last year?

Yes, it is. To do so, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Teacher Dashboard

  2. Use the academic year drop down at the top of the page and select the previous academic year 

  3. You will then be able to select your class from last year and view their data.

How can I make the most out of CENTURY in my organisation? 

We have a number of guides and recommendations on how to successfully implement CENTURY. These can all be found in our customer hub here or in the Best Practice Usage Models section here.


My students can’t login.

If your students are unable to login, double check they have an account set up on the platform by searching for them in Class Admin. 


If they have an account, you can access their username and change their password by clicking on their name in the Students tab of Class Admin. 


If students are using single sign-on to log in to CENTURY, check they have an email address registered to their account on CENTURY by searching for their name in the Students tab. If they do not, we recommend getting in touch with your MIS manager. 


My student does not have a CENTURY account.

If your student does not have a CENTURY account, find out more about setting up a student account here. Alternatively, you can get in touch with your CENTURY Account Manager or support@century.tech.


What are the hardware requirements for CENTURY?

You can find all of our technical requirements here. CENTURY can be used from any tablet or desktop computer and is also optimised for mobile phones.


How can I get updates about new content and features on CENTURY?

All teachers will receive a weekly email newsletter containing updates about our new content and features, tips for using CENTURY, and more.


How do I introduce CENTURY to my new students?

For new students, we would recommend directing them to our student help pages here or our student resources area here.


How do I introduce CENTURY to my new teachers?

For new staff we would recommend directing them to our introductory video here. They should also have access to our 'About CENTURY - Teacher' course in the My Courses tab, which includes nuggets on how to use all features on the platform.
