The Nuggets tab allows you to carry out question-level analysis of a nugget, which could help identify whole class misconceptions or where individual students might be struggling.
Start by selecting the right course in the Course drop-down menu, then selecting the nugget you’d like to analyse.
The Nugget Overview will then display how many students have attempted the nugget and what the average score is across the whole class.
The Last Attempt graph shows how your class answered each question in the nugget. You can switch off correct answers and focus on incorrect answers by clicking on the green ‘Correct’ button beneath the graph. This allows you to identify the questions that are causing the most difficulties in your class, and focus on them to address misconceptions.
The Interventions graph is a granular version of the Interventions tab which focuses on a specific nugget instead of a whole course. The graph gives an overview of whether students in your class need extra support, praise, or even a challenge. Simply hover over the coloured dots on the graph for more information on each student.
Learn more about what the four quadrants of the graph mean in this article.
Finally, the table at the bottom of the page shows how each student performed in the nugget, including:
How many times they attempted the nugget
How much time they spent on the nugget in total
Their most recent score
Whether they got each question correct or incorrect
Click on any of the column headings to sort the data accordingly. Clicking on a cell will take you directly to the question, as well as the student's answer and any feedback given.
