What’s new on CENTURY - September 2025

Modified on Thu, 6 Nov at 4:38 PM

As the new academic year begins, here is a rundown of all things new on CENTURY to kickstart your September:

Course restructure

All courses on CENTURY have now been restructured to include our new Topics and Subtopics (more details to come!). Some courses have also had diagnostics added or removed to better fit the new course structure.

Refreshed courses

Certain courses have been completely refreshed, including:

  • English Language GCSE courses - Some older nuggets have been removed and replaced with newer versions. There are now two versions of each course, as you may wish to continue using the same course for existing users in Year 11.

  • Cambridge Science GCSE courses - Courses have been updated to more closely match the specification, with 80-100 new nuggets being added in each of our biology, chemistry and physics courses. New diagnostics have also been added to include the additional content. In some instances, nuggets may have been removed, but are replaced with a newer version reflecting the current teaching best practice.

  • AQA GCSE Combined Science Synergy

  • Revised approach for WJEC GCSE Maths

New: Landmarks & Legends course

This brand-new course takes students on a journey through time and across continents, exploring incredible places and meeting iconic figures from history. Perfect for tutor time, topic work, or just for fun, each nugget is a bite-sized journey to spark curiosity and conversation.

Explore the existing nuggets now in the content library or set to students in Assignments or My Courses. A brand-new nugget will be released each week for the rest of this academic year!

Academic and wellbeing assessments

We are proud to now offer a variety of assessments on CENTURY, available with your existing CENTURY subscription via your usual logins. Find out more about our new assessments here.
