Introduction to setting work on CENTURY

Modified on Fri, 23 Aug at 10:56 AM

Students can start working on CENTURY immediately once courses are assigned to them. Their Recommended Path (RP) will automatically fill up with appropriate diagnostics. As soon as a student completes a diagnostic, CENTURY will start recommending nuggets based on what they need to learn next.

There is also the option for teachers to set specific nuggets for students to work through, either via Assignments or the Planner. This is useful for setting homework, in-class activities, or assessing their understanding after learning a topic.

Assignments allow you to set nuggets with a hard deadline, which will appear on the students’ homepage and My Assignments tab.

The Planner allows you to push nuggets into students' RPs if you want to gently suggest work, or if you are planning to supervise completing nuggets during lessons.

Nuggets set by the Planner will have the ‘Set by teacher’ symbol in the students’ RP.
